Former Brading Town goalkeeper Stuart Moore, has moved to Luton Town on loan. Until the end of the season, from his parent club, Reading.
Several clubs were interested in taking Stuart, he signed for Luton on Tuesday afternoon, then going on to make his debut that evening. Unfortunately it ended in a 3-2 home defeat against Cheltenham. Stuart played against Grimbsy on Saturday, ending in a 1-1 draw, a game in which Luton missed an injury time penalty. They are currently in the play off places and it will be an exciting period in Stu’s development.
“Everyone at Brading Town are delighted to see Stu progressing in the game. His ability was undoubted and he shares the same work ethic as his older brother, Simon. It’s brilliant to see 2 very talented lads both doing so well …..both are former Brading Town players as well, which is a nice thing for our club. We are very proud that they are associated with Brading Town FC. You also couldn’t wish to meet a nicer family.”
Meanwhile, brother Simon Moore continues to impress at Sheffield United. When he joined them, they were in the relegation places in League 1… but after a superb run of games and performances they now sit top of Division 1. Their good run of form continued yesterday with a 4-0 win over AFC Wimbledon. Sheffield United have always been a big club with a huge fan base and hopefully will continue to do well with.
